While Mallya is blamed for owing about Rs 9,000 crore to Indian banks, very rich person diamond setters Nirav Modi and his uncle Mehul Choksi too have been accused of swindling Punjab National Bank of thousands of crores. “CBI got an objection against Nirav Mod and Mehul Choksi from PNB very nearly multi month after they had left the nation.
