10 big points Maratha Movement: The movement on the demand for reservation in jobs and education for the people of Maratha community in Maharashtra continued for the second day on Wednesday. The bandh was announced today in Mumbai by the Maratha Revolution Front. Due to the march released by the workers of Maratha Yuva Morcha at several places during closing, road traffic remained stalled since Wednesday morning in many parts of Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai and Maharashtra. Apart from this, arson and heavy violence were also done in many places. Nearly 2.40 pm Maratha Kranti Morcha announced the withdrawal of Mumbai, but after the withdrawal of the Close, there were reports of violence and arson in many areas. Along with Mumbai, decision was also taken to withdraw Thane.

On the second day of the Maratha Reservation movement, the Eastern Highway was blocked by protesters in Mumbai.
Workers of Maratha Kranti Front near the Kalyan station forced the auto drivers to drive from running.
Many schools in Navi Mumbai have asked parents to take their children from school because of the stuttering of the school bus.
Union Minister Ramdas Athawale supported the demand for reservation of Marathas. He appealed quietly and said that we will raise it with NDA.
Police fired at the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, although there is no news of any casualties in the firing.
Protesters pelted stones at government buses and other windows, including Kanjurmarg and Bhandup areas and broke their windows.
The protesters today also tried to stop the local trains of Central Railway and Western Railway.
In Kopar Khairane of Navi Mumbai, protesters surrendered several vehicles and surrounded the media and threatened them.
During the Maratha movement, Ola and Uber had a huge increase in their rent, as well as auto rickshaws.
